Wedding Terms & Conditions

Payment:

 

To secure your date we require a non-refundable 50% deposit or $500, whichever is greater. The final balance is due 1 month prior to the date of your wedding. Please note that final quotes are only valid for 30 days. Upon accepting the quote, you agree to ALL the items listed on the quotation.

Please note if you wish to cancel your booking your deposit can not be used for any other purpose.

If you have paid a holding deposit to secure your date, pricing will be determined once you have decided on florals and styling. The prices quoted in your official preliminary quote will be honoured. Reasons in which prices may increase is if you change your mind on the styling of your bouquets and arrangements.

Any pricings discussed outside a formal preliminary or final quote are to be used a guide only and are subject to change.

Additional charges may apply if we are required to hire ladders or other equipment to set up your florals which is not discussed at the time of booking or arise due to your venue requirements.

 

Liability:

 

The Little Flower Market will not accept liability for anything damaged after delivery has taken place. We accept no responsibility for what happens to the flowers once they are in your care – we give as much recommendations as possible regarding looking after the flowers if requested.

Flowers are preferably delivered on the day of your wedding – if you wish to collect/have delivered prior to your wedding day we accept no liability for the care/storage/freshness of these flowers.

It is your responsibility to ensure all correspondence correlated with the correct date of your wedding.

In the event of a natural disaster or extreme family circumstance, we will refund / credit you for any money paid (outside of the non-refundable deposit). If possible, we can credit this towards another day, minus any outlaid expenses (such as the cost of flowers if already purchased).

 

Delivery:

 

Delivery is complementary within a 15km radius of North Lakes. If you require delivery outside this zone, this will be cost factored into your quote. Please note an additional surcharge will be applied to Sunday deliveries even if you are within the 15km zone – pricing will depend on your delivery area.

We do our best to ensure you only have a small drop of fee for delivery of bridal party flowers and reception/ceremony flowers. Generally we discuss set up times with venues the week of your wedding – if we are unable to gain access to the venue until a later time, an additional delivery fee will apply. An example of this being requiring bridal party flowers mid-morning but not being able to gain access to your venue until later in the day.

If you require more than one drop off for your flowers (even within our complementary delivery area), additional charges will apply. You should allow 30 mins either side of the scheduled time for delays that may occur which are out of our control. It is your responsibility to ensure we have the correct delivery details. In the event that there is no person available to receive the goods, the goods will be left in a safe place and we will contact you to advise where the goods have been left. If there is not safe place to leave the goods, they will be returned to our premises and you will need to arrange pick up of goods.

Cancellations, refunds & rescheduled weddings:

 

At the time of your booking, we take a 25% non-refundable deposit. If you wedding is cancelled, this deposit is forfeited. If you wish to reschedule your wedding to an alternate date, your deposit can be transferred, provided we have availability. If your rescheduled date is more than 12 months after your original booking, a new quote with amended pricing will be provided.

If you have notified us that you wish to cancel your booking and then a change of circumstances arises and you wish to go ahead with the original proposal, this will be subject to our availability.

Our Covid policy remains the same as above. Deposits are non-refundable. If by chance your wedding has to be rescheduled/postponed due to covid restrictions, providing we have availability your deposit will be transferred to the new date. If we am not available your deposit will be forfeited.

 

Ceremony & reception arrangements:

 

Arrangements will be delivered and set up on site of your reception if requested and this is then cost factored into the quote. Delivery (as mentioned above) of bridal party arrangements (e.g. bouquets) can be arranged to your desired location. We work alongside venues to ensure we make your floral arrangements beautiful – sometimes there are situations out of our hands where we are unable to complete the work to the best of our ability due to issues with the venue – such as hazardous conditions, time frames not discussed at time of organising set up. The Little Flower Marker accepts no responsibility with this but is why we contact your venue to discuss any potential concerns.

We wire our cake flowers for food safety purposes - however some things are out of our hands and we cannot guarantee that flowers are food safe; we take no responsibility of this.

We will do our best to source vases and other décor however sometimes due to external issues we are not able to get the product. We will inform you of this and give different options that fit within your budget – if you are after something that is more expensive this will be adjusted for the final payment. If your final payment has been made, an invoice for the additional fee will be sent and must be paid within 24 hours.

The Little Flower Market is not required to pack down your flowers, unless discussed during the booking process. A pack down fee will be calculated, should we have to return to your venue to remove and florals.

If you are hiring any of our items, these must be returned to us within 48 hours in the same condition that they were provided. If you wish for us to collect any hired items, please notify us prior so we can quote you accordingly.

Please note we do not supply flowers and foliage for DIY purposes.

Social media & marketing:

 

The Little Flower Market reserves the right to take images of your wedding arrangements and use them on our website / social media. We understand that your day is very special so images will not be uploaded until after your wedding. Images taken by professional photographers may also be used. If you wish for this not to occur, please notify us in writing prior to your wedding. All photographers will be credited for their work.

Magnets on corsages & buttonholes:

 

Please note anyone with a heart condition and or pacemaker should not wear magnet flower arrangements. We will not hold any responsibility for any issues in relation to this.

Changes to your quote:

 

After your deposit has been paid we can still make changes to your quote as we are aware that things do change especially if you have booked far in advance. We are happy to make small changes when removing items of your quote, for example when buttonhole numbers have changed.

Upon accepting the final quote, you are accepting the items and agreeing to the value listed on the estimate. Please also note that the final total may not be reduced by more than 10% of the original agreed upon estimate as we have accommodated other weddings around the work involved.

If at the time of your booking, you have not requested ceremony or reception arrangements but then decide you would like these added – we are happy to do so providing we have availability.

Please note that if this is after we have ordered your flowers, we will do our best to ensure the same / similar flowers are obtained.

Quotes - Sizing guidelines, summaries, and seasonal availability:

 

We email out a summary in the lead up to your wedding outlining the main floral arrangements – this summary is what we work with when ordering your florals along with the details within your final quote. Please ensure you read the summaries carefully and outline any concerns – as we do not hold accountability for any issues that may arise due to this.

The Little Flower Market makes every effort to ensure that flowers and foliage used are as discussed within your final quote. Unfortunately sometimes circumstances are out of our hands, and a certain aspect/s of your arrangements may not be available. The Little Flower Market reserves the right to substitute flowers and foliage, with similar looking item/s. Where at all possible we will discuss these changes with you as necessary.

Where measurements have been provided for bouquet and floral arrangements, this sizing is a guide only. Floral arrangements and bouquets are created using flowers that vary in size and shape throughout their natural season. This can affect the sizing of the products we provide, making bouquets and arrangements slightly smaller or larger (within reason).
